What are Hyperliquid Perpetual Futures?

Hyperliquid is the native token of the Hyperliquid L1. HYPE perpetual futures (perps) let you speculate on the price of Hyperliquid without holding the underlying asset. Unlike traditional futures, perps have no expiration date, so you can hold your position as long as you want.

With 10X, you can go long (profit when HYPE price rises) or short (profit when HYPE price falls) with up to 10x leverage. This means a $100 position can control up to $1,000 worth of HYPE.
